BioI am an aspiring writer looking to make some new writer friends (especially writers of children's books). I also think it is a great idea to start this record of my journey because reading others' stories has been so inspirational to ME. Natalie Goldberg says something to the effect of "writing is a community activity" in her book, Writing Down the Bones. I couldn't agree more. We all learn and draw from each other's thoughts and creativity, and I realize I need to immerse myself a bit more in the writing world to reap the benefits of that. Also, being an extroverted writer is a bit of a paradox, so I LOVE meeting new people and making new friends whenever and wherever possible!
